This utility updates the BIOS to version R0310Y1 and provides the following benefits:

Microsoft® Windows® XP:

• Resolves an issue where the yellow exclamation point error may appear in Device Manager as "Docking Station" after restarting the computer when connected to the docking station
• Resolves an issue where the LCD screen dose not display when the computer is disconnected from the docking station while the display is set to CRT only mode
• Resolves an issue where the LCD brightness setting is not retained after restarting the computer

Windows Vista® or Windows XP:

• Resolves an issue where the system reports an inaccurate battery status and may cause the computer to shutdown
• Resolves an issue where the warning dialog box does not appear when the input password is blank or invalid when setting the Hard Disk Security password
• Resolves an issue where the user is unable to clear the Master/User password before setting the Hard Disk password security mode to disabled
• Resolves an issue where the user is unable to use the fingerprint sensor to bypass the BIOS password
• Adds support for the Intel® Virtualization Technology and provides the ability to enable or disable this feature within the BIOS settings

• Resolves an issue where the user is unable to use the fingerprint sensor to bypass the BIOS password
• Adds support for the Intel Virtualization Technology and provides the ability to enable or disable this feature within the BIOS settings
