This utility updates the BIOS to version R2021M4 and provides the following benefits:

Enhancements:

• Improves the hard disk drive password process
• Adds support for the Intel® Virtualization Technology to models with the required hardware and provides the ability to enable or disabled this feature within the BIOS settings

Issues resolved:

• Unable to boot from a DVD-R/RW disc while in RAID Mode
• Unable to set the BIOS password using specific combinations
• The system fails to start when using two different types of RAM
• The computer resumes from sleep mode when the lid is closed quickly
• Resolves an issue where the startup time is longer than usual when the TPM function is enabled
• Resolves an issue where the appearance of the VAIO® logo is delayed at startup when the TPM function is enabled and using the Microsoft® BitLocker™ security features
